Laying minefields to blow Arab civilians to shreds

The IDF prepares extensively for its perfered type of combat, massacring civilians: "In general, the army was pleased with the way it handled the protests on Sunday, despite Syrian claims that 24 people had been killed. In the weeks before, the IDF prepared extensively, laying down new minefields, digging trenches and installing new barbed-wire fences." Imagine if the Iranian regime announced that it was laying down minefields to thwart any attempts by unarmed civilians to hold demonstrations in a particular area.
