Abdullah Senussi sacked?

The BBC is saying "Frank Gardner says there are credible reports emerging that Col Gaddafi has sacked his right-hand man, information chief Abdullah Senussi." If true this is a major development. Senussi has been one of Qathafi's closest (if not the closest) aides for 40 years. He's the Libyan Omar Suleiman totally covered in blood. He ordered the massacre of 1,200 political opponents in Abu Salim prison in 1996. There is no chance of the opposition forgiving him, he has nowhere to go but to stick with Qathafi. If he's really been sacked then that means there must be all sorts of unprecendented splits going on within the regime; which isn't that surprising really.
