New York Times at your service

"Gaza, run by Hamas, has been under Israeli economic boycott for several years and suffered an Israeli military invasion two years ago aimed at stopping rocket fire." See how much propaganda is inserted into this sentence? What is the relevance of "run by Hamas" here? As if that justifies punishing the civilian population, which by the way isn't under a siege but an "Israeli economic boycott". Palestinian students are not allowed to leave Gaza to study abroad where they have university places because of an "Israeli economic boycott". Ok. And since the New York Times is incapable of mentioning any Israeli war/massacre without providing a justification we get the 'aimed at stopping rocket fire' lie.
