EUMC definition of Islamic extremism?

Look at this dodgy definition of Islamic extremism, especially this article "They believe in jihad, or armed resistance, anywhere in the world. This would include armed resistance by Palestinians against the Israeli military." Which Zionist included that sentence? Why is the Israel/Palestine part even there?
