LSE Director resigns over links to Libyan regime

Of course this is totally hypocritical, as if they have just discovered now that the Qathafi regime is a criminal dictatorship. And of course as if the Libyan regime is the only one which has links with a Western university, the world is full of dictatorships run by people educated in the West. Bashar Al-Asad was educated in London. When he took over from his father many commentators described him as a "reformer/moderniser" who would "liberalise" the Syrian regime and the sole evidence for this is that he was educated in the West. They speak in a strange, coded language.
