What more do the Iraqis want?

"Unlike other countries in the region, Iraq's authoritarian regime was removed by the invasion and democratically elected leaders have pledged to reform the war-battered state."

It's like they're complaining what are these guys protesting about Bush and Blair already gave them democracy. They mean Iraq's authoritarian regime was replaced with another authoritarian regime.
