They can't help it

"Israel fought a three-week offensive against Hamas in Gaza in 2008-9 as a response to years of rocket fire." The New York Times CANNOT mention any Israeli war/massacre without offering a justification/lies. Would they ever write "Hamas launched a salvo of rockets at Israel last week as a response to two years of Israeli bombings, shootings and vandalism."?
