New York Times on Turkish leaders
We were disappointed to hear Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey — the Muslim world’s leading democracy — denounce “any sanctions or interference that would mean the punishment of the Libyan people.”
The New York Times is disappointed that the Prime Minister of Turkey doesn't support punishing the Libyan people. They're nostalgic for the days when Turkey was ruled by far-right military juntas.
