How many times must we allow the state(s) to just hand over billions of our money to these gangsters because they threaten to make the situation worse if we don't? Oh and by the way who said this? The Irish Republic was seen as Britain’s poor and troubled country cousin, a rural backwater on the edge of Europe. Today things are different.
